Low Level Laser in Acupuncture and Low Level Laser Therapy

Low level laser ( Nonthermal) is painless and noninvasive. It stimulates Acupuncture points and Trigger points and is a useful adjunct to needle acupuncture. Photochemical interactions occur between laser light and the treated cells and tissues. Low level laser therapy uses red and infrared light and is often used in combination with acupuncture for painful musculoskeletal conditions. Dr Marilyn Golden also qualified as a laser therapist to better understand the use of low level laser in inflammatory skin conditions such as acne, eczema, mastitis, lymphoedema and wound therapy.
